Terms of Service
Effective date: April 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website quicklygenerateqr.codes and the QR code generator, dynamic QR redirect, analytics, and related features offered there (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Lukasz Czajkowski, an independent developer based in Poland ("we," "us," "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Service
QuicklyGenerateQR provides two tiers of functionality:
- Free static QR codes — you may generate, customize, and download static QR codes (URL, text, WiFi, vCard, email, SMS, phone, and cryptocurrency) without creating an account, at no cost, and without watermarks.
- Dynamic QR codes and paid plans — with a registered account, you may create dynamic QR codes, access scan analytics, organize codes into folders, and subscribe to paid plans for increased limits and additional features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. For paid features, material adverse changes will be communicated in advance.
3. Accounts and Security
To access dynamic QR codes, analytics, or paid plans, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Keep your password confidential and secure.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account.
- Take responsibility for all activity under your account.
We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain account security.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create, host, distribute, or link to any content or QR codes that:
- Violate applicable laws in Poland, the European Union, or any jurisdiction in which you or your users are located.
- Contain or link to malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing pages, credential harvesting forms, or any other malicious software or content.
- Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Contain or link to child sexual abuse material, terrorism-related content, content that incites violence, or any content prohibited by applicable law.
- Are used to impersonate another person, company, or brand in a misleading way.
- Are used for unlawful gambling, fraud, pyramid schemes, or financial crimes.
- Harass, threaten, or defame any person or group.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent technical limitations, rate limits, captcha, or abuse prevention mechanisms of the Service.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate the Service without our express written permission, except for public pages and sitemap access via standard search-engine crawlers.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations, suspend or disable accounts or dynamic QR redirects, and cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.
5. Dynamic QR Code Redirects
When you create a dynamic QR code, the printed code points to a short redirect URL on our domain, which forwards the scanner to a destination you control. Because the redirect passes through our infrastructure, the following additional terms apply:
- We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to disable any dynamic QR redirect that we reasonably believe violates Section 4 (Acceptable Use), poses a security risk, or is the subject of a valid legal complaint.
- Dynamic codes require a functional and active account. If your account is terminated for cause, the associated dynamic codes will stop redirecting.
- We are not responsible for the content hosted at the destination URL you configure. You are solely responsible for ensuring that destination content is lawful and appropriate.
- If the Service is discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice so you can update or migrate your dynamic codes.
6. User Content and License
You retain all rights to the content you upload or enter into the Service (including URLs, vCard data, logos, and landing page content). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license, and that your content does not infringe any third party's rights.
7. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Refunds
7.1 Free tier
The free tier includes unlimited static QR codes and a limited number of dynamic QR codes per account, as specified in your dashboard.
7.2 Paid plans
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, Inc. on a monthly or annual recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable subscription fee and any applicable taxes.
7.3 Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged further renewals.
- Your account will revert to the free tier at the end of the period.
7.4 Refunds and EU consumer rights
As an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), except where you have explicitly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal upon activation. Refund requests should be sent to czajnikolandia@gmail.com.
Beyond the statutory withdrawal period, paid plans are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion for exceptional circumstances.
7.5 Price changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period. You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not accept it.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation (but excluding user content), is owned by Lukasz Czajkowski and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
QR codes themselves are based on the open ISO/IEC 18004 standard and are not copyrightable. Any QR code image you generate on the Service is yours to use for any lawful purpose.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular QR code will scan reliably in all circumstances, on all devices, or under all lighting conditions. You are responsible for testing your QR codes before committing to a print run.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Polish or EU consumer protection law.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US UNDER THESE TERMS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) EUR 100.
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Polish or EU law. Consumers in the EU retain all mandatory statutory protections.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or third party right; or (c) the content you upload or link to through dynamic QR codes.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in conduct we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users, to us, or to the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Polish courts competent for the seat of the operator.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform for consumers, accessible at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated or willing to participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board, but consumers may still use the ODR platform.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email (for account holders) and prominently on this page. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
